Stand-Your-Ground

On August 23, 2023, at approximately 1:05am, a physical altercation occurred outside of a restaurant. During the altercation two females were observed fighting by a nearby security camera. After several moments one of the females was able to knock the other to the ground.
According to the the shooter, when he saw his girlfriend being beaten he feared for her safety and shot the other female multiple times, killing her.
The male asserted that her was defending his girlfriend and therefore the stand-your-ground theory applied during his defense.

Left Turn in Front of Motorcycle

On September 22, 2019, at approximately 2:35am eastern standard time, a motorcycle collided with the passenger side of a sedan resulting in major damage to both vehicles and fatal traumatic injury to the motorcycle rider.
As a result of the collision the rider of the motorcycle was ejected from the motorcycle and thrown 25 feet from the area of the collision. The force of the collision caused the sedan to rotate around its axis until coming to final rest on Amber Road for approximately 94 feet from the area of collision.

Vehicle vs. Bicyclist

On June 26, 2016, at approximately 9:30pm, a 2007 BMW sedan was traveling  toward the intersection of County Road 25 and 102 Terrace, Marion County, Florida. At the same time, an adult subject was riding a bicycle westbound in the westbound lane of County Road 25 toward the intersection of County Road 25 and 102 Terrace. Based upon the southwest heading of the bicycle at the time of the collision it is believed that the bicyclist intended to cross the roadway from the north side to the south side of the road and was unaware or apathetic to the danger the BMW approaching from behind presented.

Bullet Trajectory Analysis

On April 28, 2024, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the Lee County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from a male stating his friend had just been shot in the head.
An investigation revealed that two male subjects had been involved in a dispute for some time. On the date of the shooting, the subjects became involved in a verbal altercation. During the altercation the subject who was driving a pickup allegedly drove toward the other subject, causing him to fear for his life. As a result the other subject fired a rifle at the other subject, killing him.
